Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle

Vehicle Overview
Buckler’s MRAP vehicle provides high ground clearance and acute turning circle, ensuring superior cross-country mobility. The integrated independent suspension components of the vehicle allows the MRAP display outstanding off-road capabilities and ride comfort. The vehicle can be fitted with Central Tyre Inflation System (CTIS) which allows automatic inflation and deflation for improved mobility on different terrains. Our MRAP has a maximum on road speed of approximately 105km/h with a range of 800km. It can negotiate a gradient of 60% and side slope of 40%, and can cross water streams with a maximum depth of 1.5m.
Armour Specifications
With the protection of STANAG 4569 Level II, our vehicle protects the crew from the devastating effects of a mine blast and improvised explosive device (IED) attacks. The crew compartment can be upgraded to offer STANAG 4569 Level III protection. Our MRAP can be fortified with add-on armour for higher levels of protection against 7.62 × 51mm, 12.5mm calibre armoured piercing rounds fired from a distance of 30m at a speed of about 930m/s. The floating floor of the MRAP acts as a damper for the energy absolved when the vehicle is exposed to the devastating effect of an 8kg mine when effected at any location or wheel. Additionally, the V-shaped hull deflects the blast force away from the vehicle.
